NCL invites online applications from Indian nationals possessing the minimum qualification required for regular appointment

 to the posts as mentioned in Table A for regular deployment across Mines/ Establishments of NCL in Singrauli District of Madhya Pradesh and Sonbhadra District of Uttar Pradesh.

    Age Criteria:

     The candidate(s) must have attained the minimum age of 18 years as of the Crucial Date and the age should not exceed the upper age limit i.e. 30 years on the Crucial Date. However, relaxation in the upper age limit of 30 years for different categories of candidates would be as follows.

     In addition to the basic pay mentioned above, other allowances such as DA, attendance bonus, special allowance, HRA, Transport subsidy, Medical Facility, etc as per the provisions of NCWA XI are also admissible. After successful completion of training, further career growth will be as per the prevailing respective cadre schemes & rules.

     How to Apply: 

    i.Candidates are advised to log into the official website of NCL by using the URL

    online.

    ii. Employment Notification is available in both English and Hindi. Candidates may select either

    of them at their convenience.

    iii. Candidates are advised to go through the provisions of the complete Employment Notification

    carefully for assessing his/her eligibility.

    iv. Candidates belonging to categories other than SC/ST/Ex-Servicemen/Departmental Candidate

    are required to pay a non-refundable application fee of Rs. 1000.00/- plus applicable GST Rs.

    180/- totaling Rs. 1180/- (Rupees One Thousand One Hundred Eighty Only) only through the

    online facility.

    v. While applying online, the candidate needs to upload the following documents:-

    A scanned copy of the recent passport-size color photograph (not older than 3 weeks in jpg/jpeg

    format).

     Scanned copy of signature with Black ink pen (in jpg/jpeg format).

    Scanned copies of the documents (in pdf, jpg, jpeg format), as follows:

    a) Matriculation / Secondary Board level certificate.

    b) For the post of Assistant Foreman Electrical (Trainee) Gr.C

    A scanned copy of a Diploma or relevant and higher qualification in Electrical Engineering from

    an institute recognized by the Government.

    For the post of Assistant Foreman Mechanical (Trainee) Gr.C

    A scanned copy of a Diploma or relevant and higher qualification in Mechanical Engineering from

    an institute recognized by the Government.

    For the post of Assistant Foreman E&T (Trainee) Gr.C

    A scanned copy of a Diploma or relevant and higher qualification in Electronics Engineering from

    an institute recognized by the Government.

    c) Candidates belonging to OBC (Non-Creamy Layer) / SC / ST/ PwBD will have to upload a self-attested copy of a valid certificate in a prescribed format.

    d) Candidates belonging to Economically Weaker Sections (EWS) will have to upload a self-attested copy of a valid Income and asset certificate issued by the competent authority as per OM

    No.36039/1/2019-Estt (Res) dated 31.01.19 of DoPT, Ministry of PPG&P, Govt. of India on

    Selection Process:

    Eligible candidates meeting the minimum eligibility criteria as on the Crucial Date, as specified

    under this Notification, will be required to appear for a Computer Based Test. The selection will

    be based on a candidate’s relative score on the Computer Based Test.

    II. Candidates will be allowed to appear in the Computer Test merely based on their

    declaration regarding their eligibility as mentioned in the online application form. Scrutiny/

    Verification of the claims of the candidate(s) of their eligibility for a post applied will be done

    post declaration of results of the Computer Based Test. Such scrutiny/ verification will be done

    only for those candidates who shall pass the Computer Based Test as per the laid down cut-off

    marks (Minimum Qualifying Marks).

    III. Computer-based tests will be conducted separately for each post. The Computer Test will

    be of 100 Marks for 90 minutes duration (in one sitting), comprising two sections (Section A &

    Section-B); Section ‘A’ will consist of technical knowledge (discipline related) with 70 multiple

    choice questions (MCQs) and Section ‘B’ will consist of General Knowledge, General

    Awareness, Reasoning, Verbal and mental Ability, and Quantitative Aptitude with 30 marks

    multiple choice questions (MCQs). Each question will carry a 01 mark and there is no penalty for

    a wrong answer. No marks will be awarded for un-attempted questions. The question paper shall be

    bilingual i.e. in English and Hindi only. However, in case of any error/ambiguity in the Hindi

    version, the English version of the question shall be valid and final.

    IV. The indicative syllabus for the Computer Test is attached as Annexure-A. V. TEST CITIES: The Computer Based Test will be held at Test Cities as mentioned in the online

    application form. Candidates may opt for the Test Cities from the list as per their preference and

    the same cannot be changed after the online application form is submitted. NCL reserves the right

    to allocate any Test City or change the Test City opted by the candidate. NCL reserves the right to

    add or delete any City (s) from the list based on the number of applicants.

    VI. Selection of candidates in the merit panel will be subjected to securing cut-off marks

    (Minimum Qualifying Marks) in the Computer Based Test for the concerned position with respect

    to their category as mentioned in ‘Table H’ and fulfilling prescribed eligibility criteria:
