2. Eligibility Criteria
- Educational Qualification:
- 10+2 standard pass from
a recognized board.
- Computer knowledge is
mandatory.
- Age Limit:
- Maximum 40 years (relaxable
for reserved categories as per Govt. norms).
- Service Eligibility:
- GDS joined before 17.06.2022: 5
years of regular service.
- GDS joined after 17.06.2022: 8
years of regular service.

3. Exam Pattern & Syllabus
- The exam will follow the revised pattern as
per the Directorate’s guidelines.
- Local language test (Paper-II) has been removed (as per 29.05.2024 notification).
- Data Entry Skill Test (DEST) will
be conducted separately.
4. Preference & Posting
- Candidates must indicate preference for Cadre (PA/SA) and Division/Unit.
- Allocation will be merit-cum-preference based.
5. Exam Centers
- The exam will be held at Circle/Regional Headquarters.
- Candidates must appear at their assigned regional center.
