Vacancy Details: 

The recruitment drive aims to fill 21 vacancies across different sports categories and playing positions. The positions include Football, Weightlifting, Powerlifting, Athletics, Archery, Cycling, Boxing, and Table Tennis.

 Age Limit:

18-25 years as of 01/01/2024.No age relaxation is permissible. Only the 10th standard/Matriculation/Secondary Examination Certificate or equivalent will be accepted as proof of Date of Birth.

Application Fees:

**For General Male Candidates- Rs. 500/- (Rupees Five Hundred) only through Online Payment in

favor of RRC/NR. Application Fee of Rs. 400/- will be refunded

after deducting bank charges to these Categories of Candidate only

when they actually appear in the Trial

** For SC/ST/ EWS/ FEMALE candidates- Rs. 250/- (Rupees Two Hundred Fifty) only. Application Fee will be refunded after deducting bank charges to these Categories of Candidate only when they actually appear in the Trial.

Minimum Educational Qualification:

Sports Qualification (Achievements)

Sports persons must meet specific sports achievement eligibility norms from 01/04/2021 to the date of notification. Norms include positions in recognized championships/events at the international, national, and state levels.

Period for Reckoning Sports Achievements:

Sports achievements from 01.04.2021 to the date of notification will be considered. Activeness in sports will be adjudged based on performance during the trials.

Selection Process:

(i) Screening and scrutiny of application. (ii) Document verification for eligible candidates. (iii) Trials & assessment of sports achievements, educational qualification, and suitability for Railway/Unit Team. (iv) Final merit list based on total marks awarded by the Trial Committee and Recruitment Committee.
