What is the Project About?:
The project entails participants submitting audio recordings of expressive readings of lengthy texts, such as chapters from books. These recordings will contribute to training long-form text-to-speech AI systems, revolutionizing language technology.
Task Description:
Selected participants will be tasked with recording approximately 3 hours of high-quality audio, following the provided guidelines. Our user-friendly recording platform simplifies the process, and comprehensive instructions and training will be provided.
Eligibility Criteria:
To qualify, participants must:
Be over 18 years old and residing in India.
Be native speakers of Hindi (India).
Own or have access to a suitable headset with a microphone
capable of recording in 16 bits/48kHz.
Have access to a computer meeting specific technical
criteria, including internet speed, screen resolution, operating system, and
RAM.
Applicants will be required to submit a brief audio sample for evaluation, ensuring compatibility with project requirements.
Important Dates:
This is a fully remote opportunity, allowing participants to contribute from the comfort of their homes. The project commences in February 2024 and runs until April 2024. Eligible candidates will be contacted by our team within two weeks of registration.
Compensation and Benefits:
Participants will receive $35 upon successful completion of the project, including training and submission of 3 hours of recorded audio. Payments will be made through convenient methods such as PayPal, Gift Card, or Wire Transfer, following the review and acceptance of submitted recordings.
Project Duration:
